Cannibalism?!

Read the newspapers yesterday about the german cannibal who slaughtered a volunteer (for his dinner) alive and got interested in finding out more about cannibalism. Am online now looking through the google what I could find on the subject and I'm amazed!

There's this church of euthanasia (which seems very much like one of the cult sites my jc frens were doing for a presentation then) which actually has very detailed instructions on how to butcher a human carcass. From teh start to the end of viewing the site, i was wondering how true this site can be. I still am now, i mean, it's hard to believe it straight on cos you keep thinking, how the heck did this site survive! (and due to a very stringent education and conservative mind) isn't this illegal?

I must say, i shant ever say anything subjective against cannibals. I mean, I am certainly not one and not encouraging any to be one, but i have no first hand experience so you cant really know what they are thinking. It does give chills to my spine though if this is real. I think there's a very apt chinese saying to this: one kinda rice gives life to hundred kinds of people. (ok, poor translation but you know what i mean)

Everyone to their own will though. I believe things in the world happen for a reason. So who's to say who's right and wrong? It's just like choosing your own religion. I also believe that man is born with certain reason to know what is right or wrong, a basic morality and ethical mind, however small that might be. Like knowing that stealing is wrong, killing is wrong and so on. Under circumstances, (which is exterior to mind) then you perform what you know is wrong. (like people who are driven to their ends and has to pickpocket) It's still wrong nonetheless then, but there is a certain extent of reason why the person did so. So when choosing your own religion, i believe that every religion has their own logic, but no matter what you choose, learn what your basic morality tells you is right, like they teach you not to steal, not to kill, not to greed and so on.

I think it's a tight line between whether one should have an open mind or not. Some say if you have an open mind, you are also open to the devil. But you must be open enough to learn about forgiveness and to live with mercy, i guess. So this actually deals with a little of self control.

In university, we always learn, there is not extreme to things at all, no definite yes or no. it's something we learn in life too, and makes life very bitter. but nonetheless, bearable, as long as you dun push the limits on yourself.
