worrying day to start off

today is take your kids to work day. I absolutely have no kids but a quartet of mischievous nieces and nephews, who are still my little darlings. But din bring any of them to work today cos was worried i might be the only one in my dept to do so. Shame though, when later I found out someone in my dept brought her niece and nephew too.

But anyway, was worried in the morning cos of a couple of things. First, received an sms from my eldest sis saying that her son is in hospital cos of suspected dengue fever. Sis mus be super upset. Whenever they get ill, I always get reminded of the time when she just gave birth to her son. He wasn't very healthy then and had to be in the ICU for quite some time. Sis was always very sad then. Will give her a call after work tonight and see if I need to go over and accompany her.

Then was thinking how my friend's mum did, cos she was in surgery yesterday. Luckily, according to latest updates, she's fine and only a bit weak. Hope she gets better soon.

It's quite sad to think that my nephew is in hospital when it's children's day today. Sigh

anyway, surfed by several friends' blogsite today and updated myself. Really glad someone's walkin out of the shadows, and kit, dun be sad! if at first you dun succeed, try try again. :)
