*one sore leg, one sore arm... what's next...*
Ok, finally collated my energy to blog something lest ayu lashes at me again. haha... it's such a silly morn and i'm gg bonkers. It's the first morn of my depression, which started last night. i wonder why too, but it's like, the PMS thing is coming back again and i thot i had managed to keep it under control. Guess i'm not very self-disciplined right now.
And when PMS strikes, people do weird things. You fly and plunge all of a sudden. and you gain enough frustration to make up for the courage you never had to do certain things. Luckily i din had it when i went for the chalet on sat, or my face would certainly be darker than some of the chicken wings i've seen.
Yup, went for a chalet on sat and sun because it was our tenth year anniversary for SJAB. The turnout was pretty good, 25 out of 48. I mean, well, at least more than half of them turned up. Though I never spoke to some of them at all during the chalet, but it was pleasing enough to find them there. Ups and downs at the chalet. Firstly, it was my first time peeling off prawn shells cos i never ate them before due to an allergy. So was prepping the food and decided to take part in the battle against the prawns. Learnt several things about it, like you cant pull the tail shell off as well or else the person eating wun be able to pick it up by the tail in the first place. And that i dun need to slice it too deep to find their hmm.... poo poo. I was a bit upset when many of them dun have cos i din understand why they had such clean digestive systems. Was fun except for the part when i had to marinate the ones with the shells on, a bit painful with all the prickly stuff poking into your fingers.
As usual, i was the first official skewer (of the chicken wings) cos some of them din noe how to. I perfectly forgotten that my skill was completely honed by SJ chalets through the years till now. After I shifted to the bbq pit to help 'brush' the chicken wings, then our to-be-doctor fren took over. Quite paiseh that he was serving us, i mean, doctor's hands are very clean and erm... haha, crapping. But saw his appalled face a few times when he was offered some wings and balls with burnt sides. haha....
I mus say we have some very nice guys in Sj around, though we've always known it, but we never fail to feel how good they are when we see them each and everytime. Some of them can definitely pass as the best maids. a nicer way of putting it, some of the best SNAGs around. haha...
Of course, there were the downs too, when people become unappreciative and all.... like, demanding to be given food without lifting a finger... i mean, it's not like any help is asked for, but at least, DUN DEMAND.
Some of them had a really late night on Sat, cos of drinking games and all... i was completely knocked out after a long chat with a fren whom i haven been tokking to for quite some time. and contentedly slept a whole eight hours before i woke up to a fresh morn. (nonetheless the eight hours were interrupted occasionally by the freezing air con, which induced me to move to the sofa instead of the comfortable bed later, a phone ringing now and then, which tempted me to bury the phone somewhere, and ash! you are guilty of causing this.... and a fren, this nuah guy, who keeps pestering me to wake up now and then.... *man man man man*)
And after a fresh start, went off to the beach when some other frens called ot tell me they were there. walked a super long way to find them, and when i found them eventually, was struck by how hot the sun was and turned to stone right there and then. Returned to find my frens at another beach and was so appalled that we couldnt find a ball to play with. We are such a funny bunch of people. When there were nothing to play with, we couldnt find any balls to loan or anything. Then suddenly, we had three... one from my fren, one from my fren's sister, one which we decided to buy. *feng diao* Had a good game of volley before we got complained by some people who were disturbed by the frequency of our balls flying to them. Then moped around and played with sand, with the finale of throwing people in the sea, doing a water syncro dance and floating about.
One of the biggest things which i felt was worth me going was finding out that a fren had actually been studying in the US for three years and is flying off in two weeks' time to begin masters. At Stanford! by gosh, we are damn proud of him. after hearing that, was super duper inspired to do masters overseas. haha
i'm already looking forward to our next chalet.... haha
Ok, back to today. So this morn, (now lunchtime) discovered that i made a blunder at work again and was again quite disappointed with myself. and it's the same person again, whose things i've messed up. god, somehow my guardian angel seems determined to make the person lose trust in me..... even i am losing it fast....
sighz.... *chalet memories far far away..... *
*bottle floating in the sea with all our wishes safely tucked inside*
